Nigerian Queen

Fall 2018

This design is dedicated to my late mother and is a representation of my love and gratefulness for her. I chose to pattern the dress based on the Nigerian flag. I chose to work with crepe back satin for the shell of the dress which was a little harder to work with due to the satin fibers and golden jacquard for the bias binding to signify a sense nobility that my mother showcased in life.
